Bernadette is a native of Tipperary and joined the firm in 2011. Bernadette will qualify as a Solicitor in December 2014. Bernadette graduated from University College Cork in 2007 with an LLM in Criminal Justice – (Clinical) and prior to that obtained an LLB and a BA (Hons) in Legal and Business Studies.

Prior to joining J.J. Fitzgerald & Co. Solicitors, Bernadette worked in Human Resources in two large multinational companies in Tipperary, where she gained specialist knowledge in the area of employment law. As a result of this experience Bernadette has a particular interest in advising clients on all aspects of the law governing employers, employees and the workplace.

Bernadette works mainly in the area of civil litigation, to include personal injury, professional negligence, commercial and employment law matters. Bernadette also has a particular interest in the area of criminal defence litigation.
