Jacqueline Lacey is a Solicitor with specialist focus on Family law with extensive experience representing clients at District, Circuit and High Court level. She obtained an honours degree in Law (BCL) from University College Cork in 1999. Jacqueline trained in Arthur E. Mac Mahon, Solicitors, in Naas, Co. Kildare gaining experience in the areas of conveyancing, probate, and litigation. Jacqueline was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2003. Having practised in Naas, Co. Kildare for two years post qualification she returned to her native Tipperary to commence practice with J.J. FItzgerald & Co. Solicitors in May 2005.
Jacqueline has a particular interest in the area of residential and commercial conveyancing and has experience in advising developers on the set up and sale of new residential developments. She also represents Landlords and Tenants in the negotiation of residential and commercial leases. Jacqueline’s client base also includes many first time purchasers of residential property and those remortgaging their properties.
In addition she enjoys working in the area of probate where she advises a broad spectrum of clients in relation to estate planning and succession law from the drafting of Wills to the final distribution of assets in an estate.
The changing face of Family Law in Ireland is something Jacqueline has a keen interest in. She has completed a course in Collaborative Law with Pauline Tesler, a Californian Lawyer prominent in the movement in the U.S.A. and appreciates the need to resolve Family Law disputes efficiently and sensitively.
